The Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) baseball trounced the visiting College Station Cougars (College Station, TX), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Temple for a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Midway will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Midway (Waco, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-14.

With the defeat, College Station drops to 6-8 on the year. The Cougars host Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to clash with the Bears in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Montgomery won 8-3 in their recent league challenge against A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX)
