In Saturday's non-league bout, the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host De Smet Jesuit Spartans (St. Louis, MO), by a tally of 11-1.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Dunlap will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Senators enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Washington overcame East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 15-2, in a non-league bout.
