The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL) and the host Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL), saw Elmore County's baseball team gain a win over Pelham by a tally of 8-1.
The Panthers (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Smith Patriots (Fort Smith, AR). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Fort Smith Patriots held off Forreston (Forreston, IL), 14-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers encounter the Clarksville Wildcats (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Pelham will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record.
