The Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) baseball trounced the host South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN), 6-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Southaven for a 7A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Hernando will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 10-8 non-league win over White Station (Memphis, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, South Gibson drops to 8-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Grant Community lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Collierville (Collierville, TN)
