The Thunder now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Miege for a Eastern Kansas challenge on Wednesday, March 26. St. James Academy will clash with a Stags team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS). The Stags record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Joplin drops to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles host Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Hersey 5-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL)
