The Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Olympia Spartans to 2 in the Railsplitters non-league win on Saturday.

The Railsplitters now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin for a Central State Eight test on Tuesday, March 25. Lincoln will play a Cyclones team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Olympia drops to 1-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Eureka (Eureka, IL) to play the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-0. Eureka won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Hall (Spring Valley, IL)
