The Marquette Crusaders baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Valmeyer Pirates to 0 in the Crusaders non-league win on Saturday.

The Crusaders now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Newark for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Marquette will play a Norsemen team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Norsemen record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Valmeyer drops to 0-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Princeville (Princeville, IL) to play the Princes in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Princes go into the test with a record of 0-2. Princeville lost 18-3 in their recent non-league test against Eureka (Eureka, IL)
