In Saturday's non-league game, the host St. Christopher's Saints baseball team scored a close 8-1 victory over the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints.
The Saints (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks enter the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Miller School of Albemarle held off Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Saints face the Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 25. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Seahorses enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA).
