The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) and the host San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA), saw South Gate's baseball team beat San Fernando by a margin of 7-5.

The Rams now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host South East for a Eastern challenge on Wednesday, March 26. South Gate will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-7.

With the defeat, San Fernando drops to 5-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to clash with the Dons in a Valley Mission challenge on Monday, March 24. The Dons go into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Verdugo Hills lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marshall (Los Angeles, CA)
