The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS) and the visiting Senatobia Warriors (Senatobia, MS), saw South Panola's baseball team gain a win over Senatobia by a tally of 12-2.

The Tigers (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers enter the 6A Region 1 battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Grenada was overwhelmed by North Delta (Batesville, MS), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) in a 4A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Senatobia will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 3-10 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
