Virginia High School Baseball - Walsingham Academy nips St. Anne's-Belfield

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Walsingham Academy Trojans baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Miller School of Albemarle nudged Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD), 6-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Saints play the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 22. St. Anne's-Belfield will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 6-2 league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA).
