The Webb Spartans (Knoxville, TN) baseball trounced the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 11-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host McEwen for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. Webb will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Volunteer drops to 3-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A District 2 challenge on Monday, March 24. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Claiborne won 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA)
