Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the host Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), observed Nevada Union's volleyball team top Sheldon by a tally of 2-0.

The Miners (17-0) will now prepare for their contest against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Honkers enter the contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Yuba City was beaten by Chico (Chico, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Huskies meet the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, March 25. Sheldon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA).
