The Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Deerfield for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26.
With the defeat, Fenwick drops to 0-3 on the year. The Friars host St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
