In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 triumph over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

The Hilltoppers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils go into the West Suburban contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Hinsdale Central held off Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN), 11-10, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the St. Charles East/North Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 24. Metea Valley will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
