The Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA), 9-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Alameda for a challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Berkeley will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Saint Mary's drops to 1-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Dougherty Valley lost 11-2 in their recent league challenge against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA)
