The Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) baseball trounced the host Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA), 14-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Nighthawks now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Torrey Pines for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Del Norte will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Cathedral Catholic drops to 2-1 on the year. The Dons host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to clash with the Vaqueros in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Vaqueros go into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
