The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) and the visiting Whitmire Wolverines (Whitmire, SC), witnessed Mid-Carolina's baseball team beat Whitmire by a margin of 12-0.

The Rebels now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Newberry for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. Mid-Carolina will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-5 non-league Whitmire (Whitmire, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Whitmire drops to 1-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Dixie (Due West, SC) to play the Hornets in a test on Tuesday, March 25. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 0-0.
