The Marriotts Ridge triumphed over the host South River Seahawks softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the play the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 24. Marriotts Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
The Seahawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (Pasadena, MD). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Northeast overcame Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD), 16-0, in a non-league challenge.
