In Saturday's league outing, the host Coosa Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Chattooga Indians.

The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Armuchee (Rome, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-I Area 7 outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Armuchee got by Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 10-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Indians confront the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 7 outing, on Thursday, March 27. Chattooga will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA).
