The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) and the host Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS), observed Amory's softball team get by Aberdeen by a tally of 8-2.

The Panthers (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians go into the 4A Region 1 bout with a 15-3 record. In their last bout, Itawamba Agricultural tipped Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Aberdeen will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Saltillo (Saltillo, MS).
