In Saturday's non-league match, the host Beavercreek Beavers softball team scored a tight 10-9 win over the Sidney Yellowjackets.
The Beavers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Carlisle (Carlisle, OH). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Carlisle nipped Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Botkins Trojans (Botkins, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 24. Sidney will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
