The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) and the host Bosqueville Bulldogs (Waco, TX), observed Gatesville's softball team get by Bosqueville by a tally of 10-5.

The Hornets (16-7) will now prepare for their bout against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards go into the 4A Region III District 23 bout with a 12-4 record. In their last bout, Lorena tipped La Vega (Waco, TX), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX) in a 2A Region II District 13 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Bosqueville will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX).
