The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA) and the visiting Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), observed Mar Vista's softball team get by Grossmont by a tally of 8-6.

The Mariners (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers go into the non-league bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Point Loma tipped El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Foothillers clash with the Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 22. Grossmont will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Valhalla (El Cajon, CA).
