The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) and the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), observed Herscher's softball team get by Lexington by a tally of 9-7.

The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Bradley-Bourbonnais tipped Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Minutemen clash with the Delavan Panthers (Delavan, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Lexington will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).
