In Saturday's non-league match, the host Hope Bobcats softball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Magnet Cove Panthers.
The Bobcats (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against De Queen (De Queen, AR). The Leopards go into the 4A Region 7 bout with a 4-0 record.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Magnet Cove will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, AR).
