The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) and the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), observed Staunton's softball team get by Lincolnwood by a final score of 1-0.

The Bulldogs (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Roxana was nipped by Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL), 16-14, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Lincolnwood will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Vandals go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IL).
