The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) and the visiting Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA), observed Sam Houston's softball team prevail over Loreauville by a tally of 16-1.

The Broncos (18-2) will now prepare for their bout against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks go into the 5A District 3 bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Southside knocked off Haughton (Haughton, LA), 12-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA) in a 2A District 8 bout, on Monday, March 24. Loreauville will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, LA).
