The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) and the visiting North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL), observed Marengo's softball team prevail over North Boone by a tally of 14-4.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 27. North Boone will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
