Illinois High School Softball - Rochester sneaks past Normal Community

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Rochester Rockets softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Normal Community Ironmen.
The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Quincy Notre Dame nipped Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 18-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Ironmen battle the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 25. Normal Community will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 12-3 non-league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
