Kentucky High School Softball - Pike County Central Russell

In Saturday's non-league test, the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY), by a tally of 8-3.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) in a District 63 test, on Monday, March 24. Russell will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 4-1 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Augusta (Augusta, KY).

The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Knott County Central held off Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY), 15-1, in a non-league test.
