West Virginia High School Softball - Point Pleasant sneaks past Scott

March 22, 2025: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) softball nipped the visiting Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV), 7-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Big Blacks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league outing on Monday, March 24. Point Pleasant will encounter a Ironman/Ironladies team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Waverly (Waverly, OH). The Ironman/Ironladies record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Scott moves to 2-1 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to Poca (Poca, WV) to encounter the The Dots in a Little Kanawha outing on Monday, March 24. The The Dots come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
