The Western Pioneers baseball team (Anaheim, CA), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA)

The Conquistadores now hold a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chino for a Mt. Baldy outing on Thursday, March 24.

Next, the Pioneers confront the Glenn Eagles (Norwalk, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 24. Western will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 0-6 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA).
