Arizona High School Baseball - Metro Tech loses to Independence

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Independence Patriots baseball team scored a nice 19-1 victory over the Metro Tech Knights.

The Patriots (2-3) will now prepare for their game against West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Dragons go into the 5A Central game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, West Point overcame Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ), 13-0, in a non-league game.

The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats go into the 5A Metro game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Central was overwhelmed by Higley (Gilbert, AZ), 23-1, in a non-league game.
