North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Croatan can't get by Ashley

In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Ashley Screaming Eagle lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Croatan Cougars.
The Screaming Eagle now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Laney for a Mideastern test on Friday, March 25. Ashley will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 15-2 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-2.
The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Pirates go into the Coastal/Northeastern Coastal game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Swansboro was tipped by Coastal North Carolina HomeSchool (New Bern, NC), 19-2, in a non-league game.
