Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 11-9 in a league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockport for a South Suburban test on Wednesday, April 6.
In their next game, the Tigers face the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 25. Plainfield North will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Saints come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 12-8 non-league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
