First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA), 11-9 in a non-league test.

The Nighthawks now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Carteret for a Coastal/Northeastern Coastal test on Friday, March 25. First Flight will face a Patriots squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.

In their next game, the Knights face the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league test, on Sunday, April 3. Kellam will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
