Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), 8-7 in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wilmington Friends for a non-league battle on Friday, March 25.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern battle, on Friday, March 25. Indian River will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
