The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) softball the host Lynn Bears (Lynn, AL), 6-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Piggott (Piggott, AR). The Mohawks go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Piggott was routed by Corning (Corning, AR), 10-1, in a league bout.

The Bears now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Marion County for a 1A Area 12 bout on Monday, March 28. Lynn will confront a Red Raiders squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Brilliant (Brilliant, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
