Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS), 14-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Biggersville upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Jumpertown (Booneville, MS) to battle the Cardinals in a 1A Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 28. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 4-0.

With the defeat, Mantachie falls to 1-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to battle the Urchins in a non-league test on Friday, March 24. The Urchins come into the test with a record of 11-4. East Union won 8-2 in their recent non-league test against West Union (Myrtle, MS)
