The De Kalb Bears the host Broken Bow Savages baseball team by a count of 10-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hooks for a 3A Region II District 14 bout on Friday, March 24. De Kalb will face a Hornets team coming off a 12-0 league win over Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 14-4.

Next, the Savages face the Heavener Wolves (Heavener, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 25. Broken Bow will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK).
