In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Crystal Lake Central Tigers baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Grant Community Bulldogs.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Barrington tipped Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL), 5-4, in a non-league game.
