The Kell Longhorns got by the visiting Etowah Eagles baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Greater Atlanta Christian for a 5A Area 6 bout on Monday, March 27. Kell will face a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 league loss to North Springs (Atlanta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-7.
Next, the Eagles face the Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) in a 6A Area 6 bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Etowah will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 6-4 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA).
