The Olympic Trojans crushed the visiting Independence Patriots baseball team by a tally of 14-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Palisades for a non-league bout on Friday, March 24. Olympic will face a Pumas team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 2-7.
Next, the Patriots face the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A bout, on Friday, March 24. Independence will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-9 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to Berry (Charlotte, NC).
