In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Whitney Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Ponderosa Bruins.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Oakmont tipped Downey (Modesto, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
