The Porter-Gaud Cyclones baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers to 2 in the Cyclones non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cyclones (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC). The Panthers go into the SCISA AAAA Region III match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Pinewood Prep tipped Woodland (Dorchester, SC), 5-3, in a non-league match.
The Cavaliers (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Northwood Academy by Trinity Collegiate (Darlington, SC), 7-5, in a non-league match.
