The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) and the visiting Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), saw Downers Grove South's volleyball squad nip Naperville North by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Downers Grove South upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) to play the Eagles in a West Suburban bout on Tuesday, April 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Leyden lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL)

The Huskies now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Deerfield for a non-league bout on Friday, March 24. Naperville North will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
