The Kenai Central Kardinals ran past the host Valdez Buccaneers basketball team by a final score of 39-28 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Kardinals face the Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 24. Kenai Central will attempt to move on its 17-13 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 19-7 record after their 54-29 non-league win over Bethel (Bethel, AK).
With the defeat, Valdez moves to 17-11 on the year.
