Venice Indians (Venice, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Land O' Lakes Gators (Land O' Lakes, FL), 6-5 in a non-league test.
The Indians now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverview Sarasota for a 2A D11 test on Thursday, March 30.
In their next game, the Gators face the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 28. Land O' Lakes will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL).
