Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Littleton Lions (Littleton, CO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Northridge Grizzlies (Greeley, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 28. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO).
The Lions now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Smoky Hill for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 25. Littleton will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-2.
